The overall concept of the painting was inspired by my childhood love for Super Mario and Bubble Bobble games. I wanted to create an artwork with the main character being a large Buddha transformed into a video game theme, incorporating a 2D pixel style. The scenery includes the iconic King Coconut trees, adorable stone lions, and the Sky Walk at Bagua Mountain scenic area. There's also a legendary lovers' sanctuary on Bagua Mountain, symbolized by the shattered heart on the Buddha's chest. The dreamy and pink girlish style aims to infuse youthfulness and vitality into the Bagua Mountain locale.
