The inspiration comes from the summer vacations at my grandfather's house in Miaoli during my childhood. I remember my grandfather sitting on an old wooden chair in the living room, sipping strong tea. He held an old iron teapot with a tea towel hanging from the handle, slowly pouring hot water, repeatedly steeping the tea leaves countless times. It wasn't until the poured tea almost became as transparent as plain water that my grandfather was willing to replace the tea leaves. This is the most profound memory of my Hakka lineage grandfather.
