The leaves of Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) are thick and robust. After brewing, it exudes a rich aroma with a lingering aftertaste, known as the "Guanyin Yun" or the lingering charm of Guanyin. The tea liquor has a golden hue, and the leaves have a thick and bright appearance with a silky luster. When sipped, the tea has a mellow and thick texture, leaving a sweet aftertaste reminiscent of brown sugar.
